Q:  How do I know which aspects of Restorative Body Therapy will help me most?

A: After reviewing your intake form, together we will discuss what your goals for the session are and what therapeutic attributes might be most beneficial for you.

Q: How much will I need to disrobe for my appointment?

A: Only to the level you will be most comfortable with. You will also always be covered with a sheet and blanket, with only the area being worked on uncovered.

Q: Is Restorative Body Therapy different from a massage?

A: Yes. While certain bodywork techniques may be similar at times, the intent of Restorative Body Therapy is oriented towards alleviating 
connective tissue imbalances in your body.

Q: Are there anything specific things I should do following my appointment?

A: At the end of your session, we will discuss any 

recommendations that might be useful for you. Hydrating after receiving any bodywork is always extremely beneficial.

Q: Will Restorative Body Therapy hurt?

A: My intention is to maintain your comfort. You are always in charge of the level of pressure you would like to receive during treatment. any deeper work will come through a natural transition into your tissues, thereby eliminating any abrupt discomfort.

Q: How often should I schedule an appointment?

A: If you're looking to address an acute issue, then more frequent visits may be helpful initially before tapering off to a maintenance 
schedule of every 3-6 weeks.
